Lifetime Warranty - CharterOak... Guaranteed
for Life!
CharterOak Acoustic Devices moved to a Lifetime Warranty for all
CharterOak microphones shipped as of October 7th 2005 , upgrading
new and existing customers from the current one-year warranty. CharterOak
microphones are hand assembled at the Enfield , CT headquarters.
Using an assortment of premium parts gathered from around the World
each microphone is tailored to the characteristic tonal qualities
that set CharterOak microphones apart in the industry. Prior to
customer delivery every microphone is ear tested in a studio environment
for a period of 24 hours in addition to a 7-day burn-in.
Current owners of CharterOak microphones are encouraged to contact
CharterOak Acoustic Devices with updated address information in
order to obtain a lifetime warranty card. Owners can also arrange
for a CharterOak microphone factory service which may include: cleaning,
tube and or transformer replacement, head amp upgrade depending
on serial number, and testing.

Warranty
Details
Applicable to all manufacturers represented by CharterOak Acoustic
Devices (COAD) are the following conditions:
Not covered by COAD's warranty are accessories, batteries and other
consumables. The manufacturer's warranties are limited to physical
defects in the materials, parts and workmanship used in making the
product as well as any failure of the power supply or microphone.
Abnormal conditions, deliberate abuse and damage due to accidents,
operator's error, or unauthorized service attempts are excluded
from any warranty claims.
Under the warranty COAD will repair, or at its option, replace the
product at no charge, provided it is returned (postage paid, with
proof of purchase from the original seller) to a CharterOak's Service
Facility. Products should be returned in their original package,
or otherwise suitably protected to avoid shipping damage. Either
product registration or a valid dated proof of purchase is accepted
to establish the warranty period. The COAD's Service Department
shall be the sole final authority to determine the validity of all
warranty issues.
This Product Warranty is COAD 's only warranty, and the customer's
only remedy concerning the product. All other representations, warranties
or conditions, express or implied, written or oral, including any
warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
or non-infringement, are expressly excluded. As a result, except
as set forth in the previous paragraphs, the product is sold "as-is"
and the customer is assuming the entire risk as to the product's
suitability for his needs, its quality and its performance.
In no event will COAD be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental
or consequential damages resulting from any defect in the product
or from its use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
All exclusions and limitations in this warranty are made only to
the extent permitted by applicable law and shall not be in conflict
with the express requirements of applicable law.
